Indicators are evaluators of certain areas of the company, where the values of their performance are posted. With them, it is possible to monitor whether their goals have been achieved or whether it is necessary to act on some goal deviation presented.
According to the company's need, some indicators have calculation for calculating their result. You can add and even create a calculus for your KPIs.
What this feature is for
The calculation of the indicators are for when some of these meters require a specific account for the results to be released.
The feature helps a lot, because after the calculus has been added, the system does the calculation automatically when you post the results.
Add a Calculation to a KPI
Acess the Corporate Performance module and click the KPI tab. Then, click on the indicator you want to add the formula and click on the icon , located in the upper right corner.
It will open a tab to edit the indicator, scroll down to find the Calculation option and click Add.
Set the options as to how often it will take the Actual, how often it will take the Target and where the Calculation will be applied.
After setting the options, click the option that says Add Formula to Calculation. In it, you can set the calculation you want for the indicator result.
After setting the options, click in the option "Click here to set the formula for calculating". In it, you can set the calculation you want for the indicator result.
A tab will open with options to create your calculation. When you click Add Items, you have some options to place items in the calculus, they are:
- Indicator
- Suborfinates' sum
- Subordinates Average
- Non-Null Subordinate Average
If you want to set the Indicators as an item for calculation, click this option and a filter tab will open, you can filter your search by Management Unit, Result Area and by the name of the Indicator.
After saving, the selected indicators will be under the formula screen. You can change the Data Source to Standart, Actual, Target or Rhythm, Forecast and Projected.
Previously it was possible to create calculations using only the values of Actual, Target and Rhythm. Now, you can define calculations using too Forecast and Projected values.

Forecast and Projected will only appear if the Accept Scenario option in the indicator is checked as yes.
You can also set a larger weight from one indicator to the other and set a delay for this data. To include this indicator in the calculation, click the icon next to the delay option.
The indicator number is located on the left side of your name, it will indicate the indicator that is in use in the calculation.
If you want to delete some indicator, hover the mouse over it and an icon with the words Delete will appear. Click Yes.
Once your formula is defined, click Save, check in the tab if it is correct, and click Save again.
