What is this feature for?
The creation of a KPI from a group of tasks helps in situations where you want to evaluate the performance of tasks created and designated in STRATWs One. The assessment can also be carried out based on the number of tasks within that context.
It is expected that a task KPI behaves in the same way as others existing in the system, that is, it is possible to define targets, comparison between periods, among other features.
Creating a task KPI

In the new modal, select the type of measurement, which represents the data source to measure your tasks, either by quantity or progress.
The information model is the way the task indicator will be calculated. You can choose how to calculate by quantity of tasks or by the progress of their execution.
In the case of quantity, the calculation is made according to the number of tasks existing in the selected context. If you select progress, the calculation is done according to the ratio of progress made and expected progress (of execution) of these tasks.
Then, in "Real based on" option, you can define which values will be used as the basis for the Actual value of your KPI.
For example: if I want the Actual value to be filled according to the planned and completed tasks of an Unit and having a specific person in charge, just use the Status and Responsible filters and set the KPI for the desired Unit.
To do this, just click on the icon and select the type of filter you want. They are: Module, Status, Deadline, Responsible, Type, Criticity. You can select as many as you like. There are other options in the filters:
Module
- Corporate Performance
- Improvement Opportunities
- Project Portfolio
- Meeting Management
Status
- Planned
- In Progress
- Completed
- Deactivated
Deadline
- Delayed
- On Time
Type
- Not Informed
- Corrective
- Improvement
Criticity
- Not Critical
- Level 1
- Level 2
- Level 3
If you have chosen the data source by Quantity, you can define the Value for the target. The concept and filters work the same as for Actual value.
However, in the case of target value, there is the option to choose an Arithmetic Operation in the calculation. Just define the type of calculation you want and define a number.
Accessing a task KPI
After creating your KPI, access the Corporate Performance module, click on KPIs or SpreadSheet, select the Management Plan and Unit that you chose when creating the KPI.
Then, access the task KPI. All KPI features are available, such as: Details, Charts, Tasks, Comments, Problem Solving and Documents.
The KPI data is posted automatically, according to the task updates in the filter. It is necessary to carry out the consolidation of the KPI or the Unit for data to be updated. The minimum possible frequency for it is monthly.
