What is this feature for?
The 1:1 meeting represents a moment for the Leader and a Team Member to exchange feedback on processes, projects under development and even on each other's work, in a close and private way. This proximity enables the creation of an environment of greater honesty and trust. In addition, dedicating this time to the employees also makes them feel respected and valued, thus increasing their engagement and ensuring the alignment of their purposes with those of the company.
How to access this feature
Access the Talent Management menu and select the 1:1 Meetings option.
Stratws will display the 1:1 Meetings screen, containing the following sections:
- New 1:1: in this section it is possible to create new 1:1 meetings by selecting the guest, whether he is leader or led.
- Schedule 1:1: in this section, scheduled meetings are displayed, taking into account today's date and the next 7 days. To access any scheduled meeting, just click on it.
- 1:1 with my Leader: in this section, the information of leader's Name, the last 1:1 and the next 1:1 schedule are displayed.
- 1:1 with Led: in this section is displayed the information of led's Names, the last 1:1 and the next 1:1 scheduled with each one of them.
Status of 1:1 meetings
1:1 meetings can contain the following status:
- Scheduled: when the meeting has a date/time greater than the current date/time.
- Started: when the meeting has a date/time less than or equal to the current date/time. When the scheduled date and time is reached, the meeting will start automatically.
- Not Completed: when the organizer has not completed the meeting and its date/time is more than 24 hours past the current date/time.
- Completed: when the meeting was completed by the organizer.
Creating a new 1:1 meeting
In the New 1:1 section, select:
- the guest, who may be your leader or one of your led;
- the date;
- the time.
Then click on Schedule 1:1.
On the next screen, you can add other information to the meeting such as Link to meeting, Location or Room, in addition to adjusting the date, time and also including Topics.
After entering the desired data for the meeting, click on Confirm 1:1.
Upon confirming the 1:1, the guest will be notified via email and also via Stratws.
Creating a 1:1 meeting from leader and led listings
It is also possible to create a 1:1 meeting directly from specific leader and/or led listings. To do this, simply locate the desired leader/led and click on the Schedule 1:1 button.
When we create the meeting this way, Stratws automatically sets the current date and the closest time for the meeting, however you can adjust such information as desired, as well as add other information to the meeting such as Link to meeting, Location or Room and also include Topics.
After entering the desired data for the meeting, click on Confirm 1:1.
When confirming the 1:1, the guest will be notified via email and also via Stratws.
Concluding a 1:1 meeting
Only 1:1 meeting organizers can complete it.
To conclude a 1:1 meeting, simply access it and click on the End meeting button. Upon confirming completion, participants will be notified via email as well as Stratws.
Topics and their notes are included in the notification that is sent via email when the 1:1 meeting ends.
Topics
Topics can be used to organize the topics of a 1:1 meeting and can be added, edited or deleted at any time.
It is possible to add topics even before the confirmation of the 1:1 meeting, however the additional notes can only be informed with the meeting already confirmed.
Adding topics before 1:1 meeting confirmation
It is possible to add topics before confirming the meeting, however the notes will only be available to be informed after the confirmation.
Adding topics after 1:1 meeting confirmation
After confirmation, it is possible to add topics and also notes. After making the necessary changes to the topics, click on Save.
Editing topics
To edit the description and/or notes of the topic, just click on the desired field and make the changes. Then click on Save.
Deleting topics
To delete a topic, click on the trash can icon and confirm. The topic will be deleted, along with its annotation if it exists. Deleted topics cannot be recovered.
Editing and/or deleting topics after 1:1 meeting ends
To edit the topics of a completed meeting, click on Edit topics and make the desired changes. Then, click on Finish edition to save the changes.
When the meeting is complete, the guest will be notified when any changes are made to the Topics.
Deleting a 1:1 meeting
Only 1:1 meeting organizers can delete it.
It is possible to delete meetings that are in any status. To do this, go to the meeting you want to delete and click on Delete meeting. Upon confirming, the meeting will be deleted along with all its information and it will not be possible to retrieve it later. When the 1:1 meeting is deleted, participants will be notified via email as well as Stratws. Topics and their notes are included in the email notification that is sent when deleting a 1:1 meeting.
1:1 Meeting historical
The historical allows to access all 1:1 meetings held with a specific employee, whether he is a leader or a led. This functionality can be accessed through the editing screen of a meeting or through the list of leader/led.
You can view meeting details, edit topics, and delete meetings from the historical.

- The time suggestion for the 1:1 meeting takes into account the next times every 30 minutes, for example: if the current time is 11:33, the automatically suggested time will be 12:00 until 12:30.
