What is this feature for
Sharing a Scorecard allows other areas to have access to the same map.
In a context where more than one area needs to follow or achieve the same objective, sharing the map is necessary.
The functionality allows sharing the Scorecard map with a Management Unit or with the person responsible for the Unit.
Sharing a Scorecard
Within the Corporate Performance module, access an existing Scorecard, click on the icon and then click on “Edit Map of Scorecard”. When editing the map, click on the
icon to share.
A new window is displayed where you can select the Management Unit you want to share.
Note that it is possible to configure whether to share it with the entire Management Unit or only with the person in charge of the selected Unit. In both cases, you can include it's subordinates.
Only Users with editing permission on a Scorecard can give access to an Unit or the person in charge of an Unit.
When the Scorecard is shared with an Unit, all users with access to it will be able to view and edit (if they have permission to write in the Unit) the map.
In scenarios where only the Unit's responsible should view and edit the map, sharing can be done only for him, limiting access to other users. It is not necessary for the Unit's responsible to have access to the Unit of origin of the map.
By default, the Scorecard is shared with All Users of its original Management Unit. This default share can be changed, however, it is not possible to define only one share with the Head of the Unit without at least one Management Unit sharing it with everyone. This rule meets scenarios of Units that do not have a responsible person defined, thus preventing the map from being found by any user.
The map must have at least one Management Unit linked.
