What is this functionality for
The Reports, from the In Sight Management module, are commonly used to present meetings, giving visibility to the results and important topics of the companies' day-to-day activities. The Content in a Report is used to present textual information in a clear and organized ways. If you want to know more about this functionality, click here.
The new functionality will allow the import of Content topics from other Reports, facilitating the exchange of information between areas and the escalation of information between the different hierarchical levels of the company.
Importing content topics from other Reports
To import content topics, go to In Sight Management> Reports, and access the Report edit mode.
Then, add a new Content component, or edit an existing one. Click "Import" and choose the Origin Report. A modal will be displayed, where you can select the Content topics you want to import. At the bottom of the modal, there are facilitators of "Select all", which selects all the items, and "Select highlights", which selects all the items that were highlighted in the Origin Report. Once the selection is complete, just click on "Import", and the items will be added to your destination report.
When we import topics that are organized and grouped with equal hierarchy titles, the topics are grouped in the Destination Report, according to the title and indentation of the text, as shown below.
On the Report's view mode, by hovering the mouse cursor over the "i", it is possible to observe which Report is the origin of the topic. In addition, you can also view tasks and documents associated with this topic in the Origin Report.
It is important to highlight some points about this functionality:
- When importing Content topics into a report, the Destination report and Origin Report topics are independent. That is, when changing the topic in the Origin Report, it will NOT be changed in the Destination report, and vice versa.
- The Destination Content Version is maintained, regardless of the version of the imported content.
