What is this feature for
With the possibility to create a schedule indicators in Straws, it was necessary to create score range that measure the deviation (in days) from the execution of milestones. The ranges are responsible for determining the deviation and score of the milestones present in the schedule indicator.
Setting the ranges
To add or edit a Score Range, you must have the Administrator or Super-user profile.
Access the Settings menu and search for Ranges for Schedule Indicators belonging to the Corporate Performance grouping.
Clicking the link will load the range template settings on the screen. By default, a “Default” template is created. This template can be edited, but cannot be deleted without another template created and set to “Default Range”.
If you want to create a range, just select Add new score range. When doing so, it will be necessary to define a name for this range and then click on the button at the end of the text field to add it or press the “Enter” on the keyboard.
Note that the deviation point 0 (zero) is mandatory and cannot be deleted because it represents that the target has been reached, that is, that the difference between the planned date and the accomplished date is zero, thus being the same date. Even though it cannot be deleted, your score and the score icon can be changed normally.
To add new points, it is necessary to inform the desired deviation and score values and press the “Enter”. With the inclusion of a new point, the Way of Calculating column is now displayed. In it, it is possible to switch the way of calculating the score between the points. The available options are:
Proportional Score = The score achieved will be proportionally percentage between one point and another, an interpolation will be performed
Later Score = The score reached when entering this range will be the score of the next range
Previous Score = The score reached when entering this range will be the score of the previous range
The maximum of scores that can be created within each range is 10 (ten).
It is mandatory that there is at least one default range. When creating new range, the Default Range can be changed.
Every change made on this screen is automatically saved. When finishing the edits, just “Close” the window.
Important note: The KPIs view is defined in days deviations, for late deliveries the sign is + (positive) and for early deliveries the sign is - (negative). For example, if the planned date of the milestone is for 11/30 and the delivery was on 11/15, then at the KPIs view the range that would be contemplated would be -15 because the delivery was early. Now if the delivery was made on 12/15, the deviation would be +15 days, because the delivery was late.
