What is this functionality for?
The new functionality for registering a Track in the Results Program allows the configuration of Scores from the Reference Values available in the Corporate Performance module.
Through this new track, it will be possible to carry out a more detailed analysis from values that go beyond the percentage of achievement or the absolute value.
Setting Tracks by Reference Value
For this you will need an administrator or super user profile.
Go to Settings and, on the General tab, click on Management Plans. After that, click on the Management Plan, select the Results Programs you want to add the track.
When accessing the desired Results Program, you will find the Tracks menu. Click on it and then on Reference Value. Now, configure grades for each of the displayed values, as needed.
Configuring the calculation method
After adding all the Scores you want, go to theWay of Calculating column. In this option, the calculation of the scores between the defined tracks.
There are three types of calculation method: Proportional Score, Maximum Score and Minimum Score.
Proportional Score: all the results achieved in this range will have their grade calculated proportionally.
- For example: If Proportional Score is defined between the Minimum and Lower Limit ranges, if the metric is an intermediate value between the two points, the grade will be calculated proportionally within this range.
Maximum score: for all the results achieved in this range interval, the highest score between the two will prevail.
- For example: If a maximum score is defined between the Minimum and Lower Limit ranges, if the metric is an intermediate value between the two points, the highest score in this range will prevail, which is Lower Limit's one.
Minimum score: for all the results achieved in this range interval, the lowest score between the two will prevail.
- For example: If a minimum score is defined between the Minimum and Lower Limit ranges, if the metric is an intermediate value between the two points, the lowest score in this range will prevail, which is Minimum's one.
How the calculation of ranges by reference value works
To calculate the score of an indicator that has ranges defined by Reference Values, we need to analyze the relationship between the Indicator Result and its reference values. And then calculate your grade.
Let's consider an indicator that had the result R$1890.00 and has the following reference values configured:
The range configured in the Result Program is:
The result of the indicator (R$ 1890) is between the values of Goal and Upper Limit and the way of calculating the Score is configured as "Proportional Score".
Therefore, your score in the results program will be between 20 and 30. Doing the proportion we find that your score is 27.5.
