Talent Management
What is this feature for?
The person who has access to the settings of the Talent Management module is currently the Stratws Administrator, or Super-user profile. However, we have several scenarios where the people responsible for administering the module are different from the people who administer other Stratws modules, such as Corporate Performance, etc. This objective is to create a new type of permission that makes it possible to define which users, regardless of the type of Profile they have, can access the settings of the Talent Management module.
Setting up the rule for managing the Talent Management module
A new rule is available for configuration in user profiles and also in user groups. This rule is called Manage the Talent Management module. To add or edit it, you must have the Super-user profile.
Whoever has this rule configured with the value Yes will have access as Administrator of the Talent Management module, even if their user profile in Stratws is Normal, having access to the following options in the menu:
- Reports;
- Configure Evaluation Cycles;
- Evaluation Forms.
To add the rule for a specific user, go to the Settings > Users screen. Then, search for the desired user and access his/her registration. In the Rules tab, click to add a new rule.
Select the rule Manage the Talent Management module and the option Yes. Click Save.
Done! From now on, this user will have access as administrator of the Talent Management module.
To add the rule for a specific user group, go to the Settings > Users Group screen. Then, search for the desired group and access its registration. In the Rules tab, click to add a new rule.
Select the rule Manage the Talent Management module and the option Yes. Click Save.
Done! From now on, users who are part of this group will have access as administrators of the Talent Management module.
It is important to note that the Manage the Talent Management module rule was added for all existing Administrator and Super-user profiles at the time this feature was implemented. Therefore, if you want to remove it from any of these existing profiles, simply delete it from the desired profile.
Comments
- Only the Super-user profile can add or edit the rule;
- If a user has the rule in his record and it also exists in a group he belongs to, with a different value, Stratws will consider the rule's permission applied directly to his user profile.
